What a kit is
Ten vials of one compound at one size. A kit is not a sampler: the ten vials share a lot, so one certificate covers the whole kit and an assay run in month three is working from the same material as the one run in month one. To cover several compounds, order a kit of each.
Buying by the kit is how the per-vial price comes down. Nothing about the material changes, and neither does the packaging: each vial is lyophilized and sealed under vacuum on its own.

What comes with every kit
The lot code is on the vial and on the order, so the material in hand can be matched to the record that describes it. Storage and handling are the same as for a single vial: freezer at −4 °F on the day it arrives, away from light, as set out on the storage and handling page.
